Meet Smokey Robinson! He is a sweet young boy who is loving life! Born approximately July 2017, he has a gorgeous mask that's really distinctive.
Smokey loves people and other dogs. He likes being near his person and will lay near you if you’re busy with something else and look at you forlornly.
He loves playing in the yard with his furry foster canine sisters and will even fetch a ball (if he’s in the mood)! He also gets along with the smaller dogs in his foster home, though he thinks the smallest is a toy! He hasn’t been cat tested yet.
Smokey is still learning what is acceptable behavior in the house and what’s not. He still wants to counter surf and get into things he shouldn’t, but he’s easily corrected by voice.
He hasn’t challenged the four-foot fence at his foster home. He rides well in the car, but still needs encouragement and assistance getting on board.
Smokey is a very special boy who would really love to have another dog to play with. He is food motivated, so training should be fairly easy, and unlike most Pyrs, he gives kisses!
SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
