Meet Gordon! Need a buddy to be your best friend? Looking for a young dog with an old soul? Gordon wants to be your pal! This self-proclaimed couch and bed dog wants to be your snuggle buddy! His favorite thing in the world is lounging in the comforts of home with his people.
Everyone who meets Gordon loves him. He is great with kids of all ages. He is a shadow dog that relishes head rubs and lots of love and attention. When he’s had enough for the moment, he’ll go lie down and come back after he wakes up.
He fended for himself for a few months before coming into rescue, and is gobbling up lots nutritious vittles to reach his ideal weight of around 85 pounds. He came into this world around October 2016.
This perfectly behaved gentleman is house trained, leash trained, crate trained, and rides nicely in a car. He doesn’t seem to have any inclination to go over a fence to leave his yard. He is generally quiet for a Pyrenees.
He is good with housecats and peacefully lets them go about their kitty activities.
Gordon could do well in most any home. He is so easy to have as a companion. He is somewhat playful. He likes other dogs, big and small. He could be an only dog if he gets lots of love and attention.
SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
