Meet Kody!  He is a sweet, easy-going boy who just wants to be near his humans.  He was born on 04/01/2013, and he is on the small side at 80 pounds.

He is very relaxed and does not require a lot of play or entertainment.   He enjoys a few 20-30 minute walks a day; he's not much for long treks.

He absolutely loves kids and whines with excitement when he sees one!  Then he lays peacefully as a child reads and rests her head on him.   He is just about as perfect as can be – he is so patient and relaxed with people that he even falls asleep while being brushed.

Kody needs at least one other canine companion in his forever home.  He loves having furry friends!  He even seems to want to make friends with the cat in his foster home!  He does well when meeting other dogs, and he does not react when they bark at him.

Kody is house trained and walks nicely on a leash.  He is crate trained, but there is no need to crate him; he has impeccable house manners even when his humans aren’t home.  He rides very politely in a car.

He is content to stay behind a four-foot fence, and makes no attempts to go exploring.  He is a very quiet boy, only barking once or twice if a squirrel is super pesky with him.

This super mellow boy is just waiting to have his very own loving forever family.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
