OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION:
1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor.
2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day. Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not good situation for you or the puppy.
3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly.
4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs. They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.
Please watch this short video which demonstrates how puppies learn polite behavior from their adult dog mentors. https://youtu.be/3aoG4Ia_9P0
Meet Loraine! This beauty came into rescue when she was a wee nine-week old puppy. Born around June 2018, she is absolutely gorgeous!
She is looking for a loving forever home with owners who are excited for a toddler pup and who have the time to take her out into the world. Now that she’s had all of her vaccinations, baby girl is just being introduced to the leash and the concept of walking!
Loraine is being fostered in a busy home where she lives with her humans and four-legged friends of various sizes – from a teacup Chihuahua to a big Doberman Pinscher.
She is extremely sweet and loves to play and chew on her toys. She is doing very well with her potty training and is crate trained.
Loraine currently weighs about 35-40 pounds, and will likely be about 80 pounds as an adult.
She is good with children, but she is a toddler with sharp baby teeth, so as with any pup, caution must be exercised in case she forgets her puppy manners.
Her fluffy self will melt your heart as you admire her white coat with a hint of beige and as you look into her big brown eyes.
SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
