Meet Tori! She is a sweet girl whose had a little bit of a rough life. She came to us from a local shelter as a stray. Her approximate birthdate is 08/17/2015.
Poor Tori had at least one and possibly several litters in her young life. She has now taken the "no more babies" pledge and is on her way to better health! She weighs about 75 pounds. Once a little skimpy from malnutrition, her fur is now thick and beautiful. She is mostly white, with some "gilding" on her ears.
Tori loves to be loved on! She'll stay and be petted for as long as you want, and will tell you if you stop too soon!
She gets along well with other dogs, she hasn't been tested with cats. Tori would probably be okay as an only dog if she gets plenty of attention.
She walks well on a leash and is learning to get into a car by herself. Once in the car, she's a good passenger and rides well. She hasn't shown a lot of interest in toys, but likes playing outside with her Pyr foster sisters. She hasn't barked much, since the others take care of any intruder alerts, so it's not known if she'll bark a lot at her forever home.
Tori would probably be a good fit in any home. She does, however, get a little excited outdoors, so she would have to be monitored around small children. For the most part, though, she's a laid back, calm girl. She's shown no interest in the four foot fence at her foster mom's house.
Tori is a smart girl who picked up on her name quickly and likes to please humans. Any family would be lucky to have her!
