Meet Bear!  This gorgeous, loving, 100 pound boy was born around August 2011.  He is a most gentle soul.

This is your lake dog!  He loves boating!  And he absolutely loves evening pontoon rides!

He loves humans of all ages, and really enjoys lying on his doggy bed near the kitchen table or sofa or wherever you are.  His handsome features and smiling face attract a lot of attention in public, and he adores the attention of his many fans.

Bear’s former job was as a livestock guard dog for five years.  Then he had the opportunity to be a house dog, and he loves it!  He wants to be with his people all the time.  While he still loves to roam and explore sometimes, he’s most content being inside.

Bear gets along with male and female dogs, and he is definitely not an alpha (not a bossy) male. He also gets along with cats and chickens, and he loves all children.

Bear has the many wonderful qualities that mature dogs possess.  He is house trained and leash trained.   He rides well in a car and loves looking out the window.   Groomers say he’s a perfect angel when he's in their care.

Bear is ready for his permanent, loving, indoor-dog home.  He is available for adoption exclusively in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, or to someone willing to drive to the area to get him.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
