Meet Dewey!  He was born around November 2017.  He is on the smaller side of large; his small frame might make him around 85 pounds when he’s full-grown.

He is a playful, goofy boy!  He is very floppy and clumsy, purposely tripping over nothing in the yard just so he can roll around.  He loves all kind of toys.

He is easy-going, yet a bit shy with new people.  He loves cuddling with his favorite people.  He is a sensitive soul who needs a quieter home where there is not a lot of loud human activity.  He is very gentle with children, but gets scared of swinging arms and other quick movements.

This sweet boy loves cats!  He really enjoys their company.  He even charmed the very dog-resistant cat in his foster home!

He loves playing with his big furry foster brothers and sisters.  He loves to romp in the yard with them.  He needs a doggy companion in his forever home.  He is more confident and less fearful when another dog is around.

As much as he loves hanging inside the house with his fur family and humans, he also enjoys lying outside and watching things.  He doesn’t bark much in the house.  When he’s outdoors, he enjoys barking at things he sees and hears.

Funny Dewfus is house trained, leash trained, and crate trained.  He rides fine in the car, but he is not relaxed about it yet; he still finds it a bit scary, so he stays in one place and does not move.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
