OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION:
    1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor.
     2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day.  Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not good situation for you or the puppy.
     3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly. 
     4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs.  They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.

Meet Jessie!  She was born around 4/20/2018.  She is just so darn snuggly!

She is the only female in her litter, and she stood out right away as one of the stronger, more confident ones.  When the puppies first came from the shelter, they were all a little timid and shy - except for Jessie!  She came right up and greeted people with her tail wagging, happy and social as can be.

She has her puppy energy at play time, but when she is resting, she loves cuddle time – especially when first waking up in the morning.  She appreciates attention and love, but she doesn’t demand it.

She loves to play with other dogs, and she holds her own with the big dogs in her foster home. She respects their communication if they don’t want anything to do with her.  She doesn’t push. She knows her boundaries. With the younger male, they wrestle and romp and play.  He is much bigger than her, but her attitude doesn’t show that!

She must have a doggy companion in her forever home.  She needs help releasing her puppy energy. She has learned so much from all the other dogs in her foster home. She follows their lead, their manners. She will continue to thrive with her next dog mentor.

Jess-Jess is a typical mischievous puppy.  And she’s very funny!  She loves playing with toys, especially ones that squeak or make any noise!  She will try to push limits with humans to see if she can get away with it.  But she knows better.  She understands.  She is a thinker.

She is almost finished with her house training.  She is already good on leash.  She is crate trained for short periods of time.  She rides nicely in a car.  She talks with her foster brothers and sister when they are playing, but she doesn’t bark very much at other times.

She is very interested in the swimming pool.  She actually acts like she wants to learn how to swim.  For now, she steps onto shallow edge in pool and allows her humans to try to help her go a little deeper.

She has a natural curiosity with pet rabbits, but is quite gentle with them.  She just needs to learn that bunnies don’t like the “Pyr Paw.”  She doesn’t have a predator instinct, so she can likely be fine around house cats.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
