Meet Nocona!  This utterly handsome boy is huge and tall at a solid 115 pounds!  He was born around August 2013.  He will mesmerize you with his soulful, chestnut eyes.

He is a lazy, loving lug!  Nocona is very devoted to his person, and he is good with kids.  When you stop petting him, he will often push his head under your arm and insist on more petting.  He wants to be in the same room as you; even if he’s sleeping on the floor, he wants to know where you are.

Nocona is very laid back and enjoys long naps.  He is a big fan of lying on floor-mounted air-conditioning vents.

Nocona needs a doggy companion so he always has company of some kind.  He doesn’t like being alone. While he does not initiate play very often with other dogs, he enjoys hanging out with them.  He is very tolerant of big and little dogs – even crazy little Pomeranians that love to jump on him to kiss his face!  When he is lying on the floor and getting kissed by a little dog, he just sits up and seems happy to visit.

He pays no attention to cats even when they are zooming around the house.

This truly gentle giant is house trained, walks nicely on a leash, and rides happily in a car.  He has no need for toys.

Nocona is available for adoption exclusively in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, or to someone willing to come to the area to get him.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
