Meet Peggy Sue! This sweet, silly, loving girl was born around August 2017. Her ideal weight is somewhere around 75 pounds, which she’ll grow into soon.
She is super-friendly with people. She is great with kids, too. She shows you how happy she is with her ever-wagging tail! She is very polite, and does not jump up on people. You will just have to kiss the perfectly placed adorable freckles on her nose! After that, you’ll want to run your fingers through her luxuriously long fur.
Beautiful Peggy Sue gets along nicely with other dogs, and she needs a doggy companion in her forever home. She wants one that will play with her, race around the yard with her, and keep her company when you’re not home. She still has lots of puppy energy.
She likes playing with toys, sticks, and carrying around her empty food bowl!
She is a water dog! She loves playing in rain, running through sprinklers, and squishing through mud puddles! We’re pretty sure she’d love to be introduced to a lake, creek, or swimming pool.
Peggy Sue is house trained, dog-door trained, crate trained, and travels well in the car. She is leash trained and loves a fast pace; in typical Pyr fashion, she might take some convincing to go the direction you want – she has other adventures in mind!
She has been fine with a four-foot fence so far. She is a good guardian and will bark to let you know if she sees something suspicious.
When she’s ready to relax, she’ll go to one of her favorite spots. In her foster home, she loves to lie on a big cedar chest that has a soft throw on it. Her other spot is watching the outdoors by leaning over the back of the sofa under the picture window!
This girl is an absolute joy that will bring a lucky family so much happiness.
