OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION:
1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor.
2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day. Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not good situation for you or the puppy.
3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly.
4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs. They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.
Please watch this short video which demonstrates how puppies learn polite behavior from their adult dog mentors. https://youtu.be/3aoG4Ia_9P0
Meet Abernathy! She's a little cutie with a big name! She may be small for now, but she is mighty! Born around 4/9/2018, she will likely be around 85 pounds when she’s all grown up.
Abernathy is a lap dog cuddle bug. She wants to be with her people at all times. She loves adults and children. She is a happy little girl.
She is a water dog! She plays in her water bowl and recently tried the swimming pool. She joined her humans and started swimming with joy! She loves it! She would love to join you in the swimming pool and on trips to the lake, pond, doggy water park, and more.
She is such a playful goof. She loves playing with balls. She likes chasing cats when they’re running! If they’re not running, she leaves them alone.
This adorable baby is a full-on puppy. She is so entertaining with her puppy sounds - she has a voice, and she loves to use it! She is absolutely a talker.
Abernathy loves other dogs. She likes cuddling with them and playing with them. She wants to be boss-dog (alpha), so she needs a canine companion that is patient with her, is tolerant of her puppy ways, and shows her how to be a properly behaved doggy.
She is already best friends with gorgeous Adrian, who is also available for adoption.
She needs a human who is home with her a lot. She needs a strong owner who can help her continue to learn her manners.
She is working on her house training and her leash training. She is crate trained; she goes in just fine, but protests loudly about being left in it. She rides nicely in a car.
She would do best in a loving home where she gets lots of exercise to get her energy out. She would love to get lots of walks and lots of chances to meet many interesting people. She should probably not be placed with babies or toddlers, because she still plays a little rough.
