OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION:
    1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor.
     2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day.  Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not good situation for you or the puppy.
     3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly.
     4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs.  They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.

Please watch this short video which demonstrates how puppies learn polite behavior from their adult dog mentors.  https://youtu.be/3aoG4Ia_9P0

Meet Zephyr!  This sweetie pie was born around 03/03/2018.  She will likely be tall and reach about 90 pounds when she’s full-grown!

Little Zephie is typically a mellow pup and loves snuggling with her people.  She is great with adults and children.

She is super cute when playing with her toys, and very gentle when playing with her foster canine buddies.  In her forever home, she’ll need an active dog companion that will continue to show her how to be a polite canine citizen, how to play gently, and one that will keep her company and share the affection she’s so willing to give.

She is very smart and picks up commands quickly.  She is already house trained, crate trained, and leash trained!  She’s even nice to housecats.

Zephyr is generally very quiet and not much of a barker.  She’ll join the other dogs when they bark, and you’ll be surprised at the depth of her voice – very impressive!

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
