OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION:
1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor.
2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day. Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not good situation for you or the puppy.
3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly.
4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs. They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.
Please watch this short video which demonstrates how puppies learn polite behavior from their adult dog mentors. https://youtu.be/3aoG4Ia_9P0
Meet Addison! She is loving, affectionate, and funny! She was born around 12/01/2017, and will likely be around 75 pounds when she’s full grown.
She’s a water dog! Show her a lake or a swimming pool, and she jumps right in! She hilariously attacks water spouts! So, if you’ve always wanted a water companion, here she is!
Addison is fully embracing her puppyhood with ample curiosity and playfulness. She loves playing with toys. She’s curious and loves to explore. Everything is new to her!
She has super-adorable tan-colored sprinkles on her nose and splashes on her ears, plus one distinctive accent spot on her side. She appears to be mixed with Labrador Retriever because of her fun-loving personality, shorter coat, and love of water.
She is quickly learning how wonderful people and pampering can be. She comes running with tail wags and kisses to greet her people. When it’s naptime, she has the sweetest, softest, little snores that will lull you to sleep! She is just waiting for the perfect loving and sweet family.
Baby Addy bonds quickly with other dogs. She loves romping, wrestling, and exchanging kisses with the other puppies and big dogs in her foster home house. In her forever home, she needs at least one playful adult dog companion. (If you want to adopt her, and you don’t already have a suitable canine companion for her, you can adopt one from us!)
She is crate trained and leash trained. She is respectful of cats living in the home.
SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
