Meet Melissa!  This beautiful girl is all love and joy!  She is a huge, goofy, sweetheart.

She was born around 02/02/2017.  She will be around a gigantic 120 pounds when she finishes filling out!  She is a big, tall girl who has yet to meet a stranger, nary a mean bone in her body.

Big Miss is a lover, and she is pushy about asking for attention from her humans.  She’ll climb right into your lap until you give her all the affection she desires!  She is very voice sensitive and hasn't yet learned the typical Pyrenees habit of selective hearing.

Melissa is very playful.  She loves romping with the other dogs in her foster home; her current playmates are male and smaller than she is.   She is choosy about her toys; foster mom has learned her faves.

She likes being outside and doesn't mind being out in misty weather.

She will protect your property and be very noisy about it.

She likes to sleep guarding the door to your bedroom or lying at the bottom of steps, making sure that any animal or person will have to step over her to gain access to her domain – if you are part of the pack, you may step over her without worry.

This girl is house trained, mostly leash trained, and rides nicely in a car.

We don’t know how she is with cats, but can find out if needed.

She is happily contained within the five-foot fence in her current home – she has no desire to amble over it.
