Meet Marshall!  He has a large frame and is fit at 108 pounds!  Born around 1/28/2016, he is a handsome, fluffy, social butterball!

This guy loves people, and going out is a favorite activity.  He relishes a car excursion, especially when it leads to lots of people where he can be the center of attention!  He proudly walks by your side and turns heads everywhere you go.  He hopes for a family that includes him in their fun.

He has an old leg fracture that healed crooked and is now causing him pain.  He needs to be constricted to short walks rather than long, and needs a rather sedentary lifestyle.  He can go socializing as long as he doesn’t have to walk far to do it.

Marshall doesn’t like to be alone.  He needs a strong human leader who is at home most of the time to keep him from being nervous.

He also needs a doggy companion in his forever home.  His fur buddy should play gently with him, lounge with him, and let him be boss. He prefers female dogs.

Marshall requires a dog door that allows him to freely go in and out, even when his owners aren’t home.  That way he feels confident that he is protecting both the house and the yard.  If he hears a concerning noise, but can't get in or out to see what is happening, he can become anxious and destructive.

When it is time to call it a night, Marshall easily comes when called and settles quietly.  He sleeps for hours at your feet or on his bed.  He makes cute grumbly noises, and we like to call him Grumbledore!

He is house trained and walks like a dream on a loose leash.  He barks at anything making a noise, so he needs a home where barking will not disturb the neighbors.  He is indifferent to cats in the household.

Marshall is available for adoption exclusively in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, or to someone willing to drive to the area to get him.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
