Meet Woodrow!   He’s a really sweet and loving boy.  He’s fully grown and petite at 63 pounds!  So if you always wanted a Pyr but thought they’re too big, he could be the guy for you.

This handsome little fellow was born around 1/16/2016.  He loves all humans!  He really loves to be loved on.  He would be a lap dog if you let him!  He’ll lean his head into your hand has you pet him.

He is fairly low key in the house, and just wants to be wherever you are and to be petted.   He’s good with kids, and he ignores cats.

Woodrow can be more energetic when he’s outside playing with other dogs.  He gets along well with dogs large and small, male and female; so he would do fine with a canine companion in his forever home.  He would also be good as an only dog for someone who is home most of the time.

This lovebug is house trained, leash trained, and rides very well in a car.  He doesn’t need much of a fence – a four-footer will do for this guy.  He’s not an over-barker, just a little as needed.  He’ll try his best to protect you against all threats, foreign, domestic, or imaginary!

His idea of a toy may differ from yours, so his foster mom says you might want make sure the items you really value are out of his reach!  He responds well to verbal correction, so he’ll quickly learn what items are off-limits in your home.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
