OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION:
1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor.
2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day. Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not good situation for you or the puppy.
3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly.
4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs. They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.
Please watch this short video which demonstrates how puppies learn polite behavior from their adult dog mentors. https://youtu.be/3aoG4Ia_9P0
Meet Cool! He was born around 3/14/2017. He is a big boy and will be around 100 pounds when he’s fully grown. He is a snuggler who will run to you for loving!
Cool is a big, tall boy who loves loves, loves to have his belly rubbed and to be petted. He has a medium energy level, and loves to play with his fur sister, Comfort, and he gets along great with other dogs, too.
If possible, Cool would love to be adopted with his sister. These two are a strikingly beautiful pair! They need a strong leader due to their size and age.
This funny pup is a water dog! He likes to carry his full water bowl, or will use both feet to splash the water out it. His funny antics will keep you laughing. He loves playing with toys, and is especially fond of his rope toy.
He is house trained, leash trained, and rides nicely in a car.
Cool loves being around people. He is great with children, and can be placed in a home with kids over six years old.
SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
