Meet Electra!  This friendly, sweet, affectionate Great Pyrenees was born around 11/11/2015.  She came into rescue after a vet clinic took in her and her four month old pup.

We named her for Electra, Texas, which was named for Electra Waggoner, the granddaughter of the founder of the famous Waggoner Ranch in Texas.

Electra Waggoner was a beauty, and so is our Electra.  She is an absolutely lovable girl, a truly elegant aristocrat.

She loves loves attention from humans, and seeks it out by putting her sweet dainty paws up on you.  She often puts up her Pyr paw for pets.  She is great with kids, too.

This delightful girl is house trained, leash trained, and crate trained.  She can be trusted alone in the house.

Electra plays well with the dogs in her foster home, so she could live with other doggie companions.  She likes humans quite a bit, so she would probably also be fine as an only dog.   We haven’t tested her with cats yet, be we can if needed.

Delicate Electra is playful, yet calm.  She will have you from the first look into her big, soulful, brown eyes.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
