Meet baby Taco!  This sweet boy was born around 4/4/2017.  As a wee little guy, he was found wandering the streets, and his home could not be found.  He was scared and hungry.

Taco has settled into his foster home, and he’s learning that humans are okay.  He now actually comes up to his foster mom for attention and asks for more if she stops before he thinks she should.  He finally picked up a chew toy and played with it.

He uses the pet door and has started exploring the house.  He is house trained and crate trained.

He is a nibbler when he eats - eat a few pieces of kibble and walks away for water or to throw himself on the floor.   So cute!  At naptime, his favorite laying position is "frog dog" where his tummy is flat on the floor and his hind legs are splayed out behind him.

He is gleefully learning to play with the big dogs in his foster home.  Foster mom got to see his tail up in the air waving madly as he play-attacked one of them.  A playtime session can last twenty minutes before Taco needs time out to gather more energy - first with food and water, and then a short nap.

He is gaining confidence, size, and fur!  He’s going to be a big, gorgeous, loving boy who will be such a joy to have in his forever home.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
