REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION OF THIS PUPPY:

    1) THIS PUPPY WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN A HOME WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor. 2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day.  Please do not apply for this puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not good situation for you or the puppy. 3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly. 4) This puppy is not a livestock dog.  He must be a family pet that is allowed inside the home. Say hello to Drako! This adorable guy was born on April 23, 2017. He was found as a stray before coming into rescue. He is goofy, playful, and likes toys and he will have you laughing at his silly antics. He loves playing with the large dogs in his foster home. And he loves kids! He plays nicely with them and even walks nicely on leash for them. He is housetrained and rides nicely in the car. He is crate trained, although he would rather sleep on his bed or on the tile. He is still testing his independence. His foster mom is explaining things to him, and he’s beginning to understand that he’s expected to be polite. In his new home, he needs someone who is home a lot while he’s still in his puppy stage. He knows how to sit, lay and is good about not chewing on things that he shouldn't. This cute fella is growing fast and is going to be a big boy. He needs a large dog companion in his forever home. He has lots of puppy exuberance, and needs a dog that will rough-house with him to expend his play energy. Now is the best time to jump in and continue mentoring him. It is going to be so fun watching him fill out and fit into those big paws. He hasn’t met any cats yet, so we don’t know how he’d do with them in the household.

 

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
