Meet Felix!  Such a beautiful face!  He was born around 08/01/2010, yet everything about him screams puppy!  He is such a playful ball of energy.  He loves playing wildly with the other big dogs in his foster home.  He is respectful of the dog that doesn’t want to play.

He also loves playing with his toys and his humans.  He would do best in an active household where he gets lots of play time with a person or another dog.  Because of his enthusiasm, he can be a little rough during playtime, so it’s probably best if there are no toddlers in the home.

During his downtime, Felix channels his energy to adoring his humans.  He’ll give you the “Pyr paw” when he wants some attention.  He is a very sweet and affectionate dog that just wants to be loved.   He can easily switch from snuggle buddy to playmate at his owner’s request.

This handsome boy had a hard life in his recent past.  He was very thin when coming into rescue from the local shelter where his family surrendered him.  We can't wait his coat gets all full and fluffy again!  He should top out at around 95 pounds after he is plumped up with some good vittles.

He loves going on walks; he is great on a leash and doesn’t pull.  He is crate trained; he goes in and stays nicely without a fuss.  He is house trained.  He doesn’t bark very much – only when necessary.  He rides well in a car.  He doesn’t make any attempts to escape his fence.  He is a fast learner of what is appropriate behavior in his home.

Regardless of his past, Felix is a really sweet boy.  After coming to his foster home, he quickly regained his natural confidence and happiness.  He is a wonderful dog that deserves a second chance at life, and he will show you so much love and appreciation in return.
