Meet Demi!  This sweet, happy Great Pyrenees girl was born around 07/10/2015.  She is slightly on the smaller side (a “pocket Pyr”), and will likely fill out to about 70 pounds.

She was very skinny when coming into rescue, and is filling out nicely from the ample nutrition she’s getting at her foster home.

Regardless of the difficult path that led Demi to the animal shelter, she was already smiling when meeting her rescuers.  It seems she always looks on the bright side of life!

Demi has some remarkable climbing skills!  She will need a really good, solid fence in her forever home.

She wants to be a Velcro dog, always by your side.  She would probably be okay as an only dog, as long as she gets lots of loving from her human.

She gets along with the big and little dogs in her foster home, so she would also do fine with canine companions in her new home.  We haven’t introduced her to any cats, so we don’t know how she would be with them.
