Meet Kevin!  This sweet, friendly Great Pyrenees was born around January 15, 2017.  For a puppy, he is rather laid back.  He is not even interested in chasing the resident cat.

He has come a long way since coming into rescue only a short time ago.  In the first moments, he was very shy, timid, and fighting the leash.  He was covered in burrs and smelly things.  Even so, he gave his new foster mom big smiles on the car ride home.  After arriving home, he stood patiently outside while being brushed, trimmed, bathed, and had his nails clipped.

He gets along great with the other small and big dogs in his foster home.  He loves hanging out in the back yard with them, and loves playing chase with them.  But mostly he lounges in the house like a giant white rug.

Kevin seems to have had no experience being an inside dog, but he has adapted very well to his new cushy lifestyle and everyday routines.  He is mostly trustworthy roaming freely in the house.

OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION:
    1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor.
     2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day.  Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not good situation for you or the puppy.
     3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly. 
     4) These puppies are not livestock dogs.  They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
