Meet Freckles! This cutie-pie Great Pyrenees was born around July 1, 2009. She came to rescue from her loving owners who can no longer care for her. They’re counting on you to provide her with a new forever, loving home.
In the short time she has been with her foster family, she has already proven to be a very sweet, affectionate, and patient girl! She loves being inside, and loves being with her humans. She loves, loves senior-aged people, and everyone else, too.
She is friendly and laid-back. Despite the trauma of losing her long-time home, she adapted quickly to her foster home. She would love to live with a family or single person that has lots of love to give.
She loves daily walks! Then she can show off her long, silky coat and meet all of the neighbors; she’ll even introduce you, if you don’t know them yet.
Freckles can be an only dog or she can have a doggy companion. She is a little shy when first meeting other dogs, but comes around splendidly. She is not interested in being the boss (alpha) dog; she’s perfectly happy being the submissive one. She even has a healthy respect for cats.
Living with Freckles is easy. She could live in an apartment or in a house. She doesn’t even need a high fence – four feet tall will do. She is house trained, and can be trusted with free roam of the house. There is no need to crate her. She hasn’t shown any unfavorable habits.
SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
