Meet Polar Bear! This gorgeous, lovable Great Pyrenees boy was born around January 1, 2016.
When he was rescued from a busy intersection, he was covered in dirt, mats, fleas, and ticks. The veterinarian who found him took him into the clinic, neutered him, shaved him, and got him free of the ticks and fleas.
Polar Bear is all happiness! He is a big, goofy, long-legged, athletic sweetheart! He has a great, constant smile. He loves, loves people, and loves to run outside. He is a happy-go-lucky clown who will have you laughing all the time.
This bouncy, playful young dog adapted to his foster home quickly. He is already crate trained, house trained, and leash trained. He even listens to commands! He already knows “sit,” “stay,” “off,” “all done,” “let’s go,” “out,” and “sleepy time.”
Polar Bear gets along great with other big dogs, and loves to play chase and wrestle with them. When play time is over, he is very laid back. He is happy getting cozy on his bed at night.
He is a great family dog! This big love muffin adores going to family events and interacting with all the kids and adults. And he does well on car rides to every adventure.
He will be best in a home with lots of space to romp and play, and a family that has time to spend giving him plenty of cuddles. He is an affectionate, spunky pup who will make a perfect addition to the right family.
OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION:
1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor.
2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day. Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not good situation for you or the puppy.
3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly.
4) These puppies are not livestock dogs. They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.
SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
