Meet Frankie!  This delightful puppy was born on April 1, 2017.  We did a DNA test on her, and she is 50% Great Pyrenees and 50% German Shepherd.  At 12 weeks of age, she was already 23 pounds, so we expect she is going to be a very big girl!

She’s a puppy so full of energy and plays for hours each day with her litter mates.  Though she’s not the “leader of the pack,” she stands her own ground when playing with them.   She is the least dominant of them all, but she lets them know when they’ve gone too far.  And she is always trying to say hi to the older dogs of foster mom’s pack.

Frankie is very sweet-hearted and friendly; she loves humans, loves being held and loved, and loves to give kisses.  She will be a lovely companion to her new family.

She is good with kids, but because she likes to mouth everything with her sharp puppy teeth and accidentally scratches humans with her very sharp puppy nails, it’s best if her new home has no young children who could get hurt.

She hasn’t met any cats yet, so we don’t know how she’ll do with them in the household.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION OF THIS PUPPY:
    1) THIS PUPPY WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN A HOME WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor.
     2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day.  Please do not apply for this puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not good situation for you or the puppy.
     3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly.
     4) This puppy is not a livestock dog.  She must be a family pet that is allowed inside the home.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention.  Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
