Meet Bella! This Great Pyrenees girl is a big one, at 90 pounds! She was born around 3/28/2015.
She is a big, sweet, bundle of energy. On her first day of being rescued from the shelter, she was already running like the wind with her big foster dog companions.
She loves to play and cuddle. She’s great with kids, cats, and male dogs; she doesn't like other female dogs in her house.
Despite losing her left rear leg to infection after a car accident, Bella gets around just fine. She maneuvers up and down porch steps and has even mastered the doggie door. It's not quite elegant or graceful, but she gets 'er done.
Bella has trouble getting around on slick floors; her new home should have plenty of carpeting or non-skid rugs so she can get good footing.
SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
