Meet handsome Thor! He is 2 years old and weighs 80 pounds. Thor is enjoying a whole new life. Maybe a little sad, but comforted by physical closeness. After ten minutes of uninterrupted petting, it’s clear he wants nothing more than for it to continue. One look in those eyes and you will be forced to oblige. He plays innocent, but he knows a sucker when he sees one. Thor adores children and as far as adults go, he will take his time getting to know you. However, he will let down his guard down quicker if you have treats. Thor is very gentle and generally quiet, but if there is a life threatening noise coming from outside, he will let you know! Thor is house-trained, gets along with the other dogs and ignores cats. He likes to spend most of his time following around his favorite human (a 7 year old boy) or lounging on the back patio with his Pyr and Pug foster siblings. Thor is a dream on the leash which is a huge bonus for this breed given their natural strength tendency to be stubborn. He would do best in a home with daily walks and someone that likes taking him on car rides! Having another, well-trained dog around to show him the ropes will definitely help. He really looks to them for reassurance. You can see him watching all the human interactions and how our dogs are reacting to us. Thor is a big fluffy and sweet fella, but true to the breed - if he hears something suspicious, he will let you know by barking.
