Raymond loves people, and he will come up and hug you around the waist.  He is officially "kid approved!"  He relishes their attention, getting belly rubs from them, and showing them his biggest smile.

Raymond loves playing with the other dogs in his foster home.  Sometimes he takes exception to other male dogs that are his age, so he would do better with female dogs, or male dogs much older or younger than he is.  We estimate his birthday to be around January 15, 2016.

This handsome fella’s noble look will make your heart go “thump-thump.” He will capture you with his amber gold eyes.  He is a great companion for long walks and jogs; he is very nice on leash, even in a busy neighborhood with other dogs passing by.  He is still a little timid around loud noises and cars.  Raymond seems to take to training easily; he is a smart boy.  In a short time, he has already learned sit, down, and come.  He is also good at supervising DIY projects.

Raymond has a high energy level, so he would do best with a canine playmate that is willing to play actively.  He could possibly be an only dog if he gets lots of people attention.

Sweet Raymond seems to have been abused in his past, so right now he is on the shy side.  Quick movements towards him will result in him becoming at one with the floor.  He just needs more work to become comfortable in his own skin.

Raymond was found as a stray in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  We don't know yet whether he's good with cats.

Spin Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention.  Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
