Hello! My name is Penelope! I am about three years old and looking for my forever home! I was found wandering the streets before getting picked up by rescue. I am such a good girl (my foster mom says so all the time)! I love walks, car rides, cuddles, kids, cats, other dogs, parks, and everything else! I have yet to find something or someone I don't love right away! I travel with my foster mom to all kinds of fun places where I constantly get swarmed by little kids and I LOVE it! I love everything but I think my favorite thing in the world is to sit with my head in your lap and cuddle.  Penelope is a sweet little love bug. Temperament is sweet, affectionate, wants lots of cuddles, low to moderate energy needs. Will need a home where she can get good attention and affection. She loves to follow you from room to room. She would be great with a family with kids or someone that's in need of a really good companion.
She is house trained, leash trained, she free roams while foster mom is at work and is not destructive at all and doesn't have accidents in the house. She plays with the other foster dogs and tries so hard to snuggle with the kitties but is very respectful when they tell her to get lost. She loves kids and would do great with them. Penelope is not obnoxious in asking for attention, but she is definitely made for cuddling and would really do well with a family looking for a dog that wants to be around them and that they want to be around. She didn't start out with a happy story, but that doesn't bother her at all! She knows the right family is out there waiting for her and she can't wait to meet them! Could it be you???
