Meet Cheryl! This stunning beauty is our cover girl for our Pottery Barn Meet and Greet posters. Her birth date is around 11/11/2014.
Cheryl is the true definition of a breathing rug! She is most chill dog. Some ear scratching and some food, and she is in heaven. She loves her bed and doesn’t even want to leave it to eat! In true Pyr fashion, she wants to lay down to eat, and only if she can do so on her bed or favorite blanket.
This sweet girl has been through a lot. Before coming into rescue, she was apparently hit by a car which shattered her leg. The leg could not be repaired and had to be amputated. She knows that her lack of a leg does not make her less of a dog.
She is house trained, crate trained, and walks great on a leash. She is able to get on a couch, but does not negotiate stairs very well. She needs a home without stairs and with plenty of carpet or rugs to help her keep her footing.
She’s fine with cats and older, considerate children.
Cheryl will be fine as the only dog in the house or with a calm dog companion – one that won’t accidentally knock her over.
Cheryl is a wonderful companion, and she’s just waiting for her perfect forever family. She is available for adoption only in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, or for someone willing to drive to the area to get her.
All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
