Get ready for some Pumpkin love. Here is a sweetheart girl of three years ready to meet someone special. This poor girl had been bred and then dumped off at a shelter with her 9 month old pup. Fortunately her time in the scary shelter was short as she and her pup were rescued and taken into a loving foster home where the real journey begins. Naturally the youngster was quickly placed because who doesn't love a puppy? But do not overlook Pumpkin. She is a young lady with the added bonus of being past the silly puppy stage. She has wonderful house manners. She loves her crate and will go in by herself where she will sleep through the night. Foster Mom doesn't even feel the need to close the door. She is quite bright and has been learning some basic commands easily. Her disposition is classic gentle Pyr and she gets along with other animals just fine.

 

Pumpkin is guaranteed to steal your heart. Just recently she spent time at the vet getting a check up and bath. She was there all day. Everyone loved her and could not stop talking about how amazing she is. She was not reactive to the cats or dogs there. She was a great patient. The vet tech actually cried when she learned Pumpkin was being fostered and asked Foster Mom to make sure she gets to go to a good home because she was the "very best dog ever".

 

Pumpkin is so sweet and laid back. Friendly with everyone she meets, including kids. She rides great in the car and loves going on outings, pet stores, Home Depot, etc. She's just so happy to be a part of your world. Some noises still scare her a little but Foster Mom has been working hard on building her confidence. She will get there with continued commitment... and ice cream doesn't hurt either. Foster Mom says, "When we take her out everyone absolutely loves her, and she loves them. She is always reaching out for you with her paw, she just wants to hold hands."  Tis the season where everything is better with Pumpkin.
