My name is CAPONE, born approximately October 2013 & I'm a handsome Great Pyrenees with some major sweetness going on! Actually, I am 88 lbs of PURE MUSHMELLOW. Look at my sweet big mushface!! I was surrendered by my owner, but my foster parents have spoiled me rotten. I love kids and I'm house trained too, what more could you ask for? Capone is pretty great as far as gentle giants go. He is happy and friendly with all adults and children and has a goofy, delightful personality. When he encounters new people, he's ambling over to investigate and say hi. Unfortunately, Capone isn't feline friendly. Capone is extremely loving and affectionate. He can be pushy about it (Pyr Paw, leaning on you, laying on your feet) but he's more than happy to move on when asked. Capone, true to his breed, will alert you when something seems amiss. Whether it's a passerby on the street, loud cars or motorcycles - and those dangerous falling leaves in the backyard, Capone will let you know. If you know anything about Great Pyrenees, you'll know that they are guardian dogs and very well-known for their barking. His foster Mom says it's a happy bark but he's big and his bark is loud and could be intimidating if you didn't know that Capone is actually a big softee. If you think you can give Capone a wonderful home, please apply at www.spinrescue.org
Spin Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
