Hi, I'm Chance! I was saying to myself just this morning, "Chance," I said, "Chance, you know what you need? You need a person all your own." So I sat down to write this post for the nice SPIN people, because apparently that's the kind of thing they do - find nice people for extremely intelligent and lovable Great Pyrenees who are...I shudder to type this...LAPLESS. That's right: I have no lap to call my own. Could you be persuaded to volunteer yours? My leash manners are impeccable, and I am so mellow and well-behaved. Just keep petting me, please. Yes, that’s it…more. Look at me, I'm so petting-ish (yep, that's a word now). Pet me from head to toe and I'll rollover for more belly rubs! 

 

From his foster mom: Chance came to me recovering from a shoulder surgery, a cyst was removed. He's been through so much and still has the most wonderful temperament. He is about 5 years old and weighs 80 pounds. Chance is kid-friendly, dog friendly and feline friendly too! You may squeeze a short burst of uncharacteristic energy out of him, but truth be known, for the most part a wobble around the block is more than enough physical exertion for Chance. He'd much rather plop down in a well air conditioned home than chase anything but a treat! Chance is a big love bug. He loves affection, always ready to wrap a big paw around my leg if I stop petting him too soon. You have to watch out for that beloved Pyr Paw! Chance is so tender hearted, but he definitely has a big boy bark. It is really impressive. But he wouldn't hurt a flea. Nothing would make Chance (or me) happier than to see him walk out the door with his new family ASAP! Please, please check this guy out now!
