Loyal, protective, a strong desire for wanderlust and a whole lot of stubbornness, Mack McCamey is true to his breed! He is 4 years old and on the hunt for a very special home. He has a long, beautiful and soft to the touch coat with badger marks (LOVES to be brushed). Mack loves being the center of attention, but is equally independent too. He is highly food motivated and it’s no surprise that he’s already mastered the 'sit' command. Mack is house-trained, kid-friendly, dog friendly and feline friendly. While many dogs love a good snuggle session with their humans after a long day, Mack embraces the couch potato life a little more than others. If you let him, Mack would be willing to cuddle with you all day long; he is super sweet and loves to be with his people. Potentially life threatening noise coming from outside? He will let you know. Want to play? He will let you know - it's usually while you're cooking in kitchen, LOL! What - you stopped petting him? He will let you know with his Pyr Paw! Want a buddy to watch a movie with? He’s definitely your boy! Need to go potty? He will let you know (uses his nose to nudge the backdoor). If you are slow to close the door, he will adventure without you (he's a darter). Mack loves to go for walks every day and is fair on leash (the force is strong with this one) - getting excited at birds, squirrels and other dogs along the way. Mack must have another dog (female is better or a calm and submissive male) because he becomes destructive when bored or left alone. Ready to kick back for some serious end-of-day couch time with your favorite four-legged friend by your side? Mack is your guy! Spin Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
