Introducing Lola!  She is a giant Great Pyrenees, fully grown at a solid 110 pounds!  If you're looking for a big, sweet Pyr, this is the girl for you.  She was born around 03/01/2014.  Her family's circumstances changed, so they could no longer keep her.

Lola (who also answers to "Laila") has a fabulous wiggle-butt when she sees you.  When she’s extra happy, she likes to "talk" to you.  When she has received enough petting from you, she’ll lie down with a smile a couple of feet away. 

Lola likes going for walks and meeting people in the neighborhood.  She is gentle with kids and adults.  She hasn't met any cats.  She is not happy to get into a car, but rides nicely after she's in.

She loves running around the yard, chasing rabbits, and barking at squirrels.  After play-time, she is happy to lounge outside or inside. 

She might do best as an only dog, because when playing with others, tempers seem to flare, and the smaller dog sometimes gets hurt.

Lola will do best in a quiet home with calm children and lots of yard space to run and play.  She would love for a human to be home a lot to keep her company, talk to her, and give her plenty of belly rubs.
 
Her new family will need to be patient with her as she gains confidence in her new surroundings.  In a few days, she transforms back into her confident, happy self.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
