Meet Barron!  He is a big boy at 100 pounds, and he looks even bigger because of all of his great fluff.  He was born around August 2010.

Fozzy Bear’n is a sweet-natured gentleman with an old soul.  He is the most laid back love bug you'll ever hope to meet!  He loves, loves people.

He is housebroken, leash trained, crate trained, and rides great in a car.

Barron has a small cataract in his right eye, and he has chronic dry-eye in his left.  A few minutes of eye meds a few times a day is all he needs.  His new human must be willing to do this for him.  It's really easy and he's a good boy while you do it.

He is great with male and female dogs of sizes.  Any fellow canine companions need to be of the sweet and kind variety.  We don’t know how is around cats, but we can test him if needed.

This lovely boy adores being indoors with his humans.  He also loves to be outdoors.  He is content keeping watch at the back door or gate, warning you of all intruders, squirrels, leaves, raindrops, and more.

Barron’s new family will need to be patient with this gorgeous, gentle boy.  They must always be cognizant of his vision loss, and be careful to approach him on the side where he can see.  Any children need to take special care not to accidentally sneak up on him.  He is best with older, more considerate children.

Sweet Barron is just waiting for his perfect family to find him.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention.  Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
